We’re excited to announce PrideHacks 2020 - our first year as a virtual hackathon happening August 7-8!

PrideHacks is QueerTech’s annual hackathon bringing together people from Canada’s tech ecosystem to design, build and implement technology solutions for nonprofit organizations that serve the LGBTQ2S+ community across Canada.

This year, more than ever, in the midst of COVID and the Black Lives Matter movement, the organizations serving our most vulnerable communities need your help. As a participant, you will use your skill set to help a broad range of impactful nonprofits solve their technology challenges all while getting to know other tech professionals, our partner companies, all about the meaningful work these organizations do on a daily basis. What’s better than doing good and having fun!

PrideHacks is an inclusive environment - We welcome all genders, sexual identities, abilities... everyone! Whether you are a LGBTQ2S+ or an Ally, we welcome you to come, design, code, build, and implement solutions that will have lasting impact for these organizations.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to our presenting partner, Unity Technologies, and to our supporting partners: PaySafe, VanHacks, Local Logic, BreathLife, Fierte Montreal. Their continued support has allowed us to keep PrideHacks going, especially through these uncertain times. We look forward to celebrating Pride with you this August, even if it’s from more than 6 feet apart!
